Love this stove! Love the grill! I love to cook and I love to eat.
We did a major kitchen remodel in our home. Lots of cherry; good, but not the most expensive appliances.
DO NOT go cheap on the ventilation system. We choose a Vent-A-Hood 36" x 27" dual motor system. We can grill without setting every smoke alarm off. Friends did the vent system on the cheap. Oops!
I wish I would have spent the extra to have the motors placed in the attic to cut down on the noise. I hate noise!!!! Good venting systems are industrial in nature
Wish I would have purchased the steam option. I had the walls torn up and moving water lines, but live and learn...
I would buy this unit again in a heartbeat. I would use this in upscale home remodel. I cannot believe that builders do not use this in their new plans.
Good job KitchenAid. And good job AJ Madison

I researched many dual fuel ranges for my kitchen remodel. Of course, as I priced out the various components for the kitchen some compromises had to be made.
I wanted a 36" unit. I wanted a grill. And I wanted burners that had both high or low btu output.
One of the compromises was the Kitchenaid range...or so I thought.
I absolute think this is a fabulous range! It has every feature I wanted at a much better value than the other pro type dual fuel units. It looks very nice and performs well in all respects. It is relatively easy to clean.
I only wish I spent the extra ~$100 to get the steam option for the oven.
Probably the most important consideration if you consider a stove with a grill is the venting. I spent the money on a 27" deep Vent A Hood with dual blowers. It has the venting power to suck up the smoke produced when you sear/char a good steak. Don't cheap out on this item!
Probably the only thing that I would like to come with the stove is a full time professional chef. I guess I will have to do for the family:-)
