Rebate is limited to one mail-in rebate form per household (two mail-in rebate forms per household in Rhode Island only). Consumer may choose one model per appliance type up to a maximum of 6 models, with a maximum rebate amount of $1,000 per household. Rebate form must be postmarked no later than December 17, 2011. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to download, complete and mail in the rebate form and all required documentation by the given postmark date.

$350.00 Cash Rebate

If you are a resident of New York State and essential appliances or equipment were lost or damaged because of Hurricane Irene or Tropical Storm Lee, you may qualify for cash rebates by purchasing eligible ENERGY STAR or High Efficiency appliances or equipment. The New York Storm Relief Rebate Program is providing this assistance exclusively for New York State residents that are not receiving compensation from FEMA or insurance companies for these appliances or equipment.

The following products are eligible under this rebate program: Compact refrigerators (refrigerators which measure less than 7.75 cubic feet) are not eligible under this rebate program.
•   Refrigerators - $350
•   Clothes Washers - $250
•   Clothes Dryers - $250
•   Dehumidifiers - $100

Only appliances and equipment that replace those damaged in the storms are eligible for rebates (with the exception of dehumidifiers that can either replace a damaged dehumidifier or have been purchased to reduce humidity resulting from the storm).

Applications for Storm Relief rebates will be processed on a first come, first served basis until program funding has been exhausted. Funds are limited.

To qualify:
•   Residents affected by Hurricane Irene: approved appliances and equipment must be purchased on or after August 29, 2011.
•   Residents affected by Tropical Storm Lee: approved appliances and equipment must be purchased on or after September 9, 2011.
