This refrigerator drawer keeps things at the right temperature and looks nice. But the drawers don't slide easily and it takes some force to open and close. The space is good but other brands seemed to open and close better. I never tried this brand in the store so I didn't realize it would be difficult.

I purchased this Kitchen Aid for a small galley kitchen in a typical NYC studio apartment. It has a surprising amount of storage space -- certainly enough for a single person, it runs quiet (as quiet as any refrigerator), and fits in the space perfectly. I love the stainless steel front and the cabinet is a shiny black that looks fine even without having cabinets built around it. An excellent choice.

I have the refrig/freezer drawers in combination with a KitchenAid under counter door frig in my condo and it's perfect. I have no complaints, works great and holds more than I expected.

The unit is very noisy. It runs most of the time. The outside door surface is cold to the touch. The lever for the ice maker “clanks” every time the freezer door is opened.
