Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the best for my family We have moved and built 4 homes since 2001. We have had several built in microwaves. The last two have been this kitchenaid model. It does everything a normal microwave does, and probably is no better than other less expensive microwaves for this function. What makes this microwave shine is its ability to brown while cooking. Kids love crispy nuggets, corn dogs, etc. This microwave makes the food taste like it came out of an oven BUT in 1/8th of the time to do it. We are currently in a home with a microwave that does not have the browning feature, we really miss the kitchenaid. Pricey, but worth it to us. We had a door spring break after 3 years, and a rotating plate motor burn out after 2, had an extended warranty. We use the units every day. We are building another new home and plan on installing one of these again. Im just looking for the best price, and decided to write a review because I like the unit. 4/14/13
