Same as others who've posted online about this product. If I could give a zero stars, I would. Looks good. Very noisy. Works for awhile, but stops working right not long after 1-year warranty expires. GE has some of the most arrogant customer service reps I've ever had to speak with. $100 "service visit" fee doesn't include parts, labor, and is not deducted from the repair total. GE does not stand behind their products. The oven will cost more to repair than to just buy new. The magnatron stops working - which means the microwave will not heat. This problem was widely reported, GE kept right on producing the product with faulty magnetrons. Disgraceful.

We've had this microwave 4 years and now only half the buttons work. I would expect it to last longer.

We bought this microwave for both cooking and additional lighting over our stove. The light on this model is in the very back of the unit and does not supply any light over our stove. It's also very dim so really only works as a nightlight in our kitchen. I never thought to ask where the light was located but will definitely do so next time I purchase a microwave! If you need extra lighting, don't buy this model.
