Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Happy With This Purchase We put this in where there was no hood, so had to remove existing cabinet, install vent through roof, etc. Overall hood went in well. Two small issues during installation: First, fan/motor module wouldn't snap in place. Found some plastic tabs bent in; had to drill them out, then had to lay on top of stove to lift it into place - then it snapped in fine. Second, we used the stainless trim piece to hide the duct coming out the top - if using just the single trim piece it is hard to get the hood installed exactly at the 12 inches from the ceiling required. Ended up cutting the trim piece down slightly, which is tricky to do without screwing it up. However, once installed it looks and works great. 3/18/11
