I purchased this range in May 2012 as part of a kitchen remodel. Read many reviews before I bought it. I have cooked on both gas and electric ranges. First, the cooktop will NOT maintain a consistent temperature. The center of the front right element is way too hot even with dial down as low as it goes - middle of simmering pot burns and sticks. Element varies from bright red to black - the only thing that varies is how long red vs. black is so you have to keep constant vigil. I was told (AFTER I complained) that VERY apecial cookware is needed for this stove - perfectly flat bottoms, no cast iron but heavy bottoms. Repairmen all said this is just how it's designed and indicated the design is highly flawed. I got new cookware for Christmas - very expensive cookware - and it didn't help. I just want to return it and get a credit for another unit but since this is how it's supposed to perform and it's not "broken" I am out of luck. I have had parts replaced and multiple visits from repairmen. I don't enjoy cooking any more and it has been my hobby for 30 years.

This is my second purchase of this range - had to leave the first one behind when I sold my house. I had a similar model in my rental and I liked it enough to buy it again for my new house. It is reasonably priced and I like the warmer and the bridge option. The only real negative is the stainless is hard to keep clean. It would be nice if they would offer a "fake" stainless that doesn't show the fingerprints.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Ruthie63 LOVE LOVE LOVE my Range
I have had my new range for over a month and I love it. It was easy to install. We even used the strip from our old slide in range on the back. It is very easy to clean. My old one burned everything because the temperature was set too high. This one is perfect and with the convection part it makes biscuits golden brown. If you see that it cooks too fast you can also adjust that. You are able to lock out the buttons on the front for cleaning and although I have not tried the self cleaning feature I am sure it is wonderful also. I saved $300.00 purchasing it from A.J. Madison as opposed to Lowes. It did take a little longer than expected for delivery, but with free shipping I could not complain. Although I have not had it long I am very, very pleased with it so far. I am looking forward to cooking Thanksgiving dinner with it.

We've had the range about a month.... like the overall appearance and performance, mostly. The push button controls are a concern, however. Because of the positioning of the "Clear" and "Start" buttons, 1/4" apart, it is way to easy to clear all settings, when oven is heated up and you're ready to bake. Temp controls are off from my old GE. Be careful of the convection oven, as it automatically lowers your set temp by 25 degrees.
