I am very happy with this cooktop. I bought it because it had 5 burners with space for 5 pots. It also had the ability to have drawers underneath- I was very against wasting the space underneath the cooktop. The lock is very nice- I can hear from anywhere in the house if one of my kids try to turn on a burner! My one issue is the price of these cooktops- why do they need to be so pricey?

Bought this because it was the only stainless gas cook-top that offers a child lockout. We've been to houses where the children have turned on the front mounted dials of other gas ranges and the child's caretakers have said that was a big draw back of their ranges. It matches well with our KitchenAid appliances and the Broan hood I bought for the rest of the kitchen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TX Engineer Looks Good but Performs Poorly
We have had this cooktop for 15 months now. GE had to send us orifices for use with LP. After sending us the wrong ones the first time, they sent us another set that worked. The small burners are probably great for melting chocolate but they can't boil a pot of water. Just don't have enough heat. On the other hand, can't cook rice on the large ones because they are too hot, even on the simmer setting. Should have stuck with the Dacor I had in my last house. Tried to compromise to get the 5 appliance rebate and it definitely wasn't worth it. the dishwasher stinks too.
