We replaced an aging gas enameled cook top with this ceramic one (white). It usually cleans very easily with just some 409. Occasionally you need to use the cleaner / polisher supplied with the cook top to remove stubborn burnt on stuff close to the burners. The burner covers are coated with some amazing space-age finish as well: a soapy plastic scrubber will clean off burnt on gunk and make them look brand new.
My only beef is the locked light which lights up when the gas on buzzer is enabled. When locked, the unit spends 20+ hours a day with the light ON. The light should really mean UNLOCKED.

The cooktop is great. Easy to install, very easy to clean and looks sleek. It lights quickly and cooks perfectly. So happy with this product.

We replaced an old element electric cook top with this gas model. Very easy installation, no problems fired right up when I bled the air out of the line. We like the glass as you can clean it with a razor. We bought a 4" glass scraper at Lowe's to clean the surface, cleans right up.

This unit was replacing a similar 12 year old GE profile unit. The installation was not easy. Ge has changed the angle and location of the exiting gas nipple. Even with a flex line it took a lot of trips to different plumbing store to come up with the right fittings and angles to fit above the oven below and the back wall. Then the biggest problem and change between the old and new units was the metal body/pan of the unit has 90 degree corners were as the original had rounded / radius corners. The granite counter had rounded/radius cut out. So the granite had to be cut to make the corners square, which can create a weak spot for the granite to crack in the future.
