The GE Profile J2B912 freestanding range uses dual-fuel technology to optimize your cooking experience. It uses 120-volt installation which allows it to be plugged into a standard household outlet. It is an electric oven, but uses the assistance of natural gas to increase the heat output and reduce the wait it takes to reach the desired temperature setting. This reduces your total time spent in the kitchen, and the heating results are even and accurate. The oven is self cleaning, and the oven door automatically locks when it is in self clean mode. The warming drawer allows you to select low, medium and high settings, so your foods will be at the right temperature when you are ready to serve them.
The cooktop offers GE's PowerBoil17,000 BTU burner which delivers forceful heat for rapid boiling. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Precise Simmer burner gives you maximum control when working with delicate sauces, melting chocolate, or warming milk. The center oval burner adds a fifth element to the center of the cooktop to accommodate large cookware and deliver superb results. The included non-stick griddle, when placed over the center oval burner, offers a flat cooking surface for cooking multiple dishes at once. The cooktop also offers the benefit of having continuous grates, so moving pots and pans around on the cooktop is safer and easier than on standard grates.
