Rated 1 out of 5 by biewel Bosch - never again Absolutely bad. Control board DOA - held in place by a cheap pieces of double stick tape. Took 3 visit by tech. Control knobs are made of cheap plastic and will melt over time. Used self cleaning mode and now have slightly melted display panel. Timer function controls 100% backwards. Door does not seem to close properly. Cook performance of burners and oven is quite good but nothing a range at half the price would not do as well. 1/1/12

In my old house I had a Viking gas range and then I had to live in an apartment for about 18 months and was stuck with an ancient electric range. We just moved into our new home and installed this Bosch range. I can say that the performance is every bit as good as the Viking at a fraction of the price. The only thing I liked with my Viking better was that all of the surface burners went from simmer to 15,000 BTU's and the Bosch only has one burner that does this. The others are all smaller BTU ratings. 11/12/09
