After four horrible years with no gas line, struggling with a ceramic top stove, we took the plunge, had propane installed and purchased this stove. I have loved using dual fuel stoves before back in europe, so to buy the same was a logical choice.
I wanted to give this a good road test before posting feedback, and am very pleased to report that it has met all expectations.
I have to say, compared to using natural gas, propane does lack just a little uumph... BUT it is a huge improvement over my weak and uncontrollable electric stove top. I have simply learned to use the largest burner( and lids!) to bring large quantities of food or water to a rolling boil quickly, and then to move the pan to another smaller burner to simmer or continue boiling, as necessary. This is really only a minor inconvenience.
I find cleaning the glass stove top a breeze. I use Windex multi-surface cleaner with vinegar for day to day, and the Cerama Bryte, and provided blade, for spills. My best investment though was to buy a cheap pack of microfibre cloths to wipe with...they make the job very easy....and the glass surface instantly shiny.
The electric oven is fantastic. I have used most of the functions and they have all worked as described. This is the first oven I have had ( and I have had a few) that actually heats to exactly the temperature I have selected. I have found this fact alone to be tremendously exciting, and my baking and temperament have both improved as a result!
I have also used the self clean function to create a spotless, clean as new oven, with no detriment to the electronics as some have had.
Finally, I was lucky I suppose, to order the stove just as the new control knobs were available. Could they look better? Yes, they could. Would they be better in stainless steel? Absolutely! However, having been exposed to heat and a daily clean for the past 8-9 months they appear as good as new. The range is so great to use, the appearance of the knobs would not put me off purchasing again.
So to sum up, no regrets so far, and I absolutely recommend this dual fuel range.

I cook a lot and like the look and feel of this range. I have used it about 2 months. It is easy to clean and looks great.

We replaced all the appliances in our kitchen with Bosch products. They all look good and are great products. For a slide in stove we looked at Viking, Wolf etc. but settled on the Bosch. I'm not a gourmet cook but do enjoy cooking. For my needs, spending the extra $1500 or so on the next notch up of stoves didn't seem like a good use of my money. We haven't been disappointed with our decision. The stove looks great and is easy to operate. My wife who is not mechanical at all was able to figure the controls out on her own and was cooking, baking and broiling on it with no problems the 1st day. One of the differences between the more expensive ranges & this one is that this one has a glass top. Very easy to clean. The others had stainless steel which can be much harder to clean. Glass is better!
