this refridgerator doesn't close properly and is a major complaint by everyone who owns. I was told that is was on the scale of a Sub Zero! It is made of cheap plastic inside. I had to buy the cabinet outsides and handles extra. I have checked prices else where and I over paid.

It was hard to organize items at first because the space is designed differently from standard units but it can hold a lot of food. The only disappointment is that the cabinet installation guide suggested a reveal smaller than is actually needed. The door will not automatically close and a repair man could not fix this problem. If the door is not closed properly an alarm sounds. I've adjusted to this but be aware that the measurements provided for the custom cabinetry are inaccurate.

After spending tons on SubZero and having so many issues I am pleasantly surprised with the function and reliability of Liebherr. Great ice maker too.

We choose this over a Sub Zero because it was Energy Star rated.
Positives:
This refrigerator has a lot going for it especially since the exterior design works well with modern kitchen concepts. We like the bright interior lighting, easy access to the ice tray.
Negatives:
For a short person it is difficult to reach the top shelf. A large area of storage inside the refrigerator is a drawer that cannot be opened unless both doors are open; this is difficult. (But that drawer allows you to store lots of things--when the drawer is extended everything is accessible and visible.) A major negative is that the doors do not automatically close completely; one needs to carefully line up the doors when closing otherwise an alarm sounds. The alarm is great though because it assures that you are not wasting energy. The installation drawings indicated a specific reveal needed at the sides of the unit but more was actually required which caused our cabinetmaker extra work.
