Rated 4 out of 5Â by PremiumApplianceReviewer Satisfactory but not up to par for the price paid
I needed a high quality under bar fridge that could be boxed in with my cabinets under granite countertops and was hoping to get a premium upscale brand with all the bells and whistles like Monogram or other.
Regretfully I settled on Perlick as I knew they had a professional quality commercial reputation and they were one of the only models that could fit the requirement of my tight cabinet height overall of 32 or less
It looks great and has a high quality door and seal when you open and close
A satisfactory product of quality lacking very important features
• It’s a tad noisy but in the acceptable range
• No front panel temperature control knob one has to take a screw driver to adjust in the back inner wall of the unit to raise or lower temp
Why not an electronic easy to reach electronic temp control as soon as you reach in above the door?
• No thermometer for degrees (models typically of this price range have a built in digital guages
• No master on and off switch (what were they thinking?)Who wants to pull the plug behind the unit for vacations?
• Inadequate not bright enough lighting
Would be nice to have an adjustable dimmer controlled bright halogen lighting system that looks more upscale (at least two lights)
•Glass door steams up in seconds of opening(don't know if they can solve that)
Overall a satisfactory quality product if you’re tight for space with height
Overpriced especially as manufacturer & dealers do not discount the brand.I am satisfied overall with the purchase but would like to see Perlick step up their game.
