The H1600 series features Summit's most versatile convertible range hoods that can be used with top or rear venting and easily converted into non-vented (recirculating) mode. These hoods offer the features all customers want, including a two-speed fan, switchable light, and aluminum-charcoal filter.

The H1648SS is a 48 inch wide range hood made in a stainless steel finish. Additional units are available in black, white, and bisque and come in 20, 24, 30, 36, and 42 inch widths to match most ranges. All SUMMIT range and shell hoods are made in the U.S.A.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hard-to-find range hood I live in a 1978 manufactured home which had an old 48" range hood, which is a hard size to find at an affordable price. I was thrilled to find it very affordable through [...], although it did arrive with a small dent in the front, which I think might be repairable with a slight push with a tool of some kind. So far am very pleased....it is just perfect for me. 10/23/07
