This washer is a total waste of time and money. It leaves fabric softener in the bottom of the drum when finished, ( yes we did use HE softener and at less than the recommended level). At the first service call the tech discovered that the drum did not achieve the proper speed and ordered parts to repair it a week later when he returns and installs the parts it still does not spin fast enough says we will get a new one. GE calls to say we will receive a new washer and someone will call to set up a delivery date and time. A week later a trucking company shows up at the door and says they are here to make a delivery no appointment no notice. Second washer is put in place but because I had high pressure stainless steel hoses installed on the machine they couldn't set it up. Ran the second machine and the same problem as the first exists fabric softener remains in the bottom of the drum when done. I don't see the savings espoused for this machine, it takes an hour to run a wash cycle and the to get the fabric softener out of the cloth you have to run a second rinse and spin cycle. The settings were all set to what the manual called for and the proper fabric softener was used and the machine was not over loaded. The service calls to GE support are less than satisfactory. This machine is a complete piece of junk and I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Please note that to get this published I had to agree that GE and anyone they want can change and add to or delete from what I wrote so this may or may not be all that was written.

I dont know which washer everybody else is using but dont believe the "good" reviews. I really hate that we have this washer, I have not had a clean pair of clothes in 3 months. Water does not fill higher than the infuser but the drum is big enough to fit a King Comforter in it. You cannot control the amount of water, the machine figures it which is usually incorrect for the load size. You will have more than half of the load dry bc it never touches the water until the rinse cycle. Every load I was comes out dirty except my whites (only bc I use bleach). Im wasting so much of my HE detergent b/c Im having to run the load twice for every wash. I have to split, what would normally be a "regular size" load in a traditional washer, in two. Its time consuming and stressful now I HATE laundry day even more than I did before. Only thing I like about the washer is that its very quiet...probably bc its not doing much work washing the clothes. The drum is huge but there is no use for all that space. If you want to be washing all day and have to still take bedding to the laundry mat or cleaners then this is the product for you!

The washer does not clean, especially anything black. It does not use enough water so dirt and lint attach to the cloths and have to double wash or rinse several times. I would not have purchase this product had I known of this issue.

Great how it conserves water. Also it is so quite, love that.
Not sure how I feel about the little bit of water that remains in the bottom..???
