This is the first ever purchase of a stackable / laundry center after 35 years of standard washer and dryers in a home. After having limited space in downsizing to an apartment I researched the net and found this unit to be affordable yet had many of the features of standard machines and better than most capacities. This unit is very quiet, washes and dries better than our past machines and we have not experienced any issues at all for the past two months of use. No missing buttons or torn draw stirngs etc. and as far as the buzzer thing goes.........please it's a great machine.

I had just purchased my condo and found out I needed a new washer/dryer. Space would only permit the unitized model. The washer is more than I expected. It is large; it is quiet, and it does a great job. It is indeed a full size washer and dryer. Does an excellent job on washing and drying.Really like that the controls are in the middle. The only thing I would recommend to GE is that they add a buzzer at the end of the dry cycle. It really needs a buzzer or bell at the end of the dry cycle. That's my only complaint. I would definitely recommend this model to anyone needing a space-saving unitized model.

Needed a single unit for space and was excited to find this capacity of a washer/dryer unit. We have owned it for 3 months, have had at least 5 service calls because the washer doesn't always run through a cycle. Have called GE and they don't seem to want to replace it...that's all we want!!! There are so many features I love about this product, especially with the children doing laundry, just need it to work properly. We paid extra for it to be delivered and installed...

I performed research on the largest wash load stackable units, looked for the best reviews. Since we have had the unit, it intermittently stops in the wash cycle (pauses) and you must initiate the push button (Play symbol) to restart. Now 4 months in, the dryer unit has stop heating and drying (takes 120 minutes to dry one queen sized linned bed sheet. Call for warranty repair and the earliest they could get to it was 4 days from the call. I guess we shall see if GE truly stands behind their product. Stay tuned.
