Rated 3 out of 5 by not cold enough Fridge was delivered promptly from ajmadison.com (ordered saturday got it monday). However it was defective (temp in the lower unit was above 46F). GE internet maintenance center was not helpful so I had to call live and that was very effective (nice rep -I could get an appointment with a GE tech in the same day I called). The field tech -an union guy-was perfect. He called ahead, was in time, made a quick diagnostic, ordered the defective part (the thermostat) which came by fedex next day. Still the overall performance of this fridge is not what I expected: to get 35F on the lower unit the thermostat is set to 6 (out of 7) instead of 4 (recommended) so that is not good regarding power consuming. I didn't order an icemaker (too affraid of water leaks) 5/30/11
