usable space is a big improvement over our old side by side. The easily movable & flat glass shelving is a plus.
Bending down to get to the rear of the frig takes some getting used to...but far more accessible and convenient than a side-by-side, and much more reasonable to operate (with the low electrical use)--and is quieter.

We needed additional freezer space and fell in love with the look, size and layout of the GE GTH21KBX. Locally the price was $200 to $250 more than the price AJ Madison offered. I called in the order, received great service, and received prompt emails regarding the order. The refrigerator arrived from New York in California only six days later. The delivery company was professional and thorough.
The refrigerator has been wonderful (I am writing this review six weeks after delivery). It is a great size, the energy usage in our home has lessened, the freezer works very well, and it has exceeded our expectations.

the refrigerator is not as cold as it should be. It stays at about 40 degrees at the coldest setting. I would like it to be 37/38 degrees.
I had the repair guy come to look at it and he was not able to find anything wrong with it, and after opening the vent said it would get colder. It hasn't.

If you're not looking for bells & whistles, this frig is for you. A great value from this online seller, they beat local prices even though it was shipped to California & on time! I've already noticed the saving with the Energy Star rating. I've used GE refrigerators for 50 years. The quality is not what it was with my first one, but it's probably as good as
any of the others, today. I did my shopping locally
before deciding on this model & this seller. You won't go wrong with this model.
