After my old fridge decided to quit, I had to dive into the new to me world of refrigerators. Went to the stores, got shocked by the prices there, decided to try online shopping. You have to be very careful with this type of purchase, since if there is a problem, and you have to ship the unit back to the retailer, this alone would defeat all advantages of online purchase when you have substantial savings and home delivery for the same price. Anyway, decided to take this risk. Price was well $250 below any retailer price, free delivery, no tax, which is another $200 savings. At first I got an email stating that my order would ship in 2 weeks frame. That was not what I expected, so I sent an email to the customer service, saying basically, that I did not expect such a delay. Same or next day received another email that now my ETA is 3 to 5 business days, 2 days later it was shipped. Delivered in a week or so, delivery guys from AM Home Delivery did an amazing job getting this fridge into my apartment. They had to remove and later put back the fridge door handles, as well as the apartment door, all just to get it in.
1 month later I am very happy with this fridge and AJ Madison

I love this frig! Everything works great and looks great. The only thing I wish was better would be that the water needs to be colder coming from the frig, but that's what the ice is for anyway. (:

I've had this appliance for one month.So far so good.No
problems of any kind.Everything works perfect like its
supposed to.My last refridgerator was also a GE and
lasted for 23 years.Also,GE makes their own icemaker
which works good.Most other brands buy theirs from a
third party supplier,and when I read the reports on these
icemakers there always seemed to be problems,complaints
and negative feedback.I would recommend this product to
all.
