Crown doors provide a modern twist on traditional door designs. And new color-matched upgrades add a new look to the controls and throughout the dispenser area. By keeping foods fresh longer, unnecessary trips to the grocery store are dramatically reduced. The ClimateKeeper System with dual evaporators create 2 separate climates, one for fresh food compartment and a separate one for the freezer to help maintain flavor and freshness. Full-width access to shelves and drawer means that larger items, like party trays, fit easily and remain at the ideal temperature.

Our newly purchased GE refrigerator is very, very nice. We are well pleased with its looks and performance.
A J Madison is a GREAT company with which to do business. Their delivery was excellent and their price was the lowest by far of any other supplier.

I replaced a side-by-side with this new model. I absolutely love it. It is very quiet. Much easier to organize and to find things in. Even the freezer area is great. I had been told that having the "drawer" rather than shelves could be an issue, but I am not finding it to be a problem at all -- and I am an organizer to the nth degree!! Would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade from more traditional designs.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great fridge, great price
We've had this for about 3 months now and it's been great. Ice and water work great. Nice and spacious. The deli drawer slide could be a bit sturdier. Nice looking fridge. Easy to use controls.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lindanna Pleased with this refrigerator
I have been using this refrigerator for about two months now. I really like it. The french doors with freezer on the bottom design is great. I have a smallish kitchen, so I love that opening the refrigerator doors takes up so little space. I *love* the clean steel. It looks shiny and elegant, and stays as clean as could be expected from any appliance that is used as much as our refrigerator is, and it's very easy to clean. I also *love* the price I got from AJ Madison. Thanks guys!
All the items I use the most are within easy access on top. There is plenty of room inside for the needs of my family of three. The only thing I don't love about the refrigerator is the bottom fridge width compartment, supposedly for deli trays. I have never had a deli tray in my life. Are these really so common that they need their own refrigerator compartment? (Wider items fit on the bottom shelf as well.) Plus, I find it difficult to open and close this deli tray compartment. I have to make sure to be pulling down and out. I could have done without this particular compartment. This is not a big deal.
I find that items in the freezer are within easy reach. There are two easy access bins for the freezer. Neither is too deep, so I don't believe that things will be getting lost at the bottom of the freezer and staying there for decades, as can sometimes happen with freezers that open on the top. The freezer has lots of space, which works for our family. The space in the freezer does seem to be at the expense of more space in the refrigerator, which might be a disadvantage for some.
I have never had a refrigerator with an external ice/water dispenser before. Now I'm spoiled. It's great to have ice whenever I want it. It's not silent, but I don't find it too noisy. Occasionally we will hear a clanking noise from the kitchen which is the ice dropping into the bin, but for us it is totally a non-issue, especially now that we know what it is (and realize that it's not the cat pushing something off the counter!). If you are bothered by hearing a car start up outside, this noise might bother you. It can only be heard in adjacent rooms, and not on other floors of the house. It's infrequent, but then we don't use a lot of ice, either.
The control panel is nice. I really like the ability to check the temperature inside the fridge and freezer I refer to it more than I thought I would. If I were designing this fridge, I'd have made the control panel smaller, but that's a minor quibble. Since most appliances now have a digital display (5 of the 6 in my kitchen) it would be nice to have an industry standard. 2 of the digital displays are green and 3 are blue. In my case, it varies by manufacturer. I didn't know I'd notice that, but I do.
Overall, this is an excellent appliance and an incredible value for the price I got from AJ Madison. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it.
