I'm a huge fan of any appliances made by GE, they've always produced great products in every line. I had a GE bottom freezer before but single door and loved it but we moved and gave that to someone else and I wanted to buy the same one but they no longer have the affordable model I had before. So I set my sights on this lovely GE fridge and I am definitely enjoying the double door and bottom freezer action. I don't like the way the freezer opens and how it holds the things we put in there. The basket is awkward and it doesn't hold as much as I hope it would. Thanksgiving and Xmas turkeys were interesting to place. Also, the freezer has a nice feather here it does start to pull itself close so in case you forget it closes itself (or I could have placed the fridge at an angle I don't know about) and it does take a bit of strength to pull freezer open and that keeps my kids from trying to get into it which is a good accidental feature I'm sure. The refrigerator portion is excellent, I LOVE the roomy space and all the many compartments I can have. Over all it's a super nice fridge, and it's quiet and performs very nice and very energy efficient. I love that AJ Madison was able to get it from Eastc oast to Westc oast pretty quickly.

The fridge is very spacious but the freezer is pretty small. You will need to buy an external water filter if you are going to consume the ice from the auto ice maker.
