I have had 5 prior GE diswashers through the years and have been very pleased with them until this purchase. This machine does not dry the dishes well. The dishes/glasses are wet when the dry cycle is over. If I don't empty it quickly and dry the silverware, they air dry with spots all over them. GE requires that the hot water is at a temperature of 127 degrees and that you need to run the water faucet until the water is its hottest before starting the cycle. Very odd. Never had to do that for any dishwasher before. GE also claims that this dishwasher is working as designed and will not consider replacing this brand new one purchased a month ago. They must know that a replacement unit will not work any better. Customer service is the worst. I am remodeling my kitchen and was intending to purchase all GE. However, after this experience, I will never buy another GE appliance again. Don't buy this machine!
