We were retiring an old Garland workhorse and were concerned about BTUs. Capital is one of the few manufacturers who does not retrofit a stove designed to operate on Natural Gas to work with Liquid Propane. The BTUs are spectacular, almost more than we can use. Heavy duty, nice design, many well thought out touches. And half the price of the other serious cook stoves from Thermidor, etc. The convection feature overcomes most of the downside of a gas oven (uneven heat). Altogether a nifty appliance.
