I purchased Miele for the top rack adjustability and super quietness but the bottom rack loading configuration is confusing. Unless you use mainly plates, the lower rack is not very useful. We use a lot of bowls and since there are no tines, the bowls don't stand separated and don't get clean. I have ended up fitting cups and glasses in the lower rack. The wine glass holder in the bottom rack is a plus. With the adjustable top rack, I have height in the bottom but the configuration doesn't allow thick items such as a 9x13 or broiler pan set. I like the cutlery rack. Not sure I'd purchase again. =/

appears smaller smaller inside than standard american products (less deep), also about 1/2" less wide on outside

I had a problem buying a new dishwasher because nothing fit the new kitchen built around the old dishwasher. Everything was a half an inch too big. Finally I found the Miele and it fit and I didn't care that it was so expensive. I did check reviews and they were all high. What I never anticipated would be, that I would not be able to figure out how to load it. It is the stranges configuration I have ever seen . Nobody , including the installers could tell me. I have been on You Tube and there seems to be a lot of people with the same problem. I feel as though I lost a ton of space to load with this dishwasher. However it is so quiet and does a great job. I just wish I knew how to get more into it, as it is so limited for loading as far as I can tell.I run this one so much more often .
