I am very pleased with this purchase. While my refrigeration expert will not warrantee this product since he did not supply it...i do not feel that that will be an issue. The product is actually very simple and built well. It took 2 men 3 hours to install and has been nicely cooling my office ever since. The Unit is light-the fans are made of plastic and more importantly the outdoor unit is very quiet!
Electrically the unit does not draw much current = low electrical bills. It almost draws as much as maybe 3 100Watt light bulbs. Not much considering 90+F days!
I would definitely recommend this great product for the unbeatable price.

Luxuries of a Mini-Split (Ductless Split System)
Ductless Split Air Conditioner & Heat Pump products offer wide versatility in solving your cooling and heating requirements. The Indoor unit (evaporator) is mounted inside the room, and usually goes very unnoticeable. It is connected to the outdoor unit (condenser) via refrigerant lines & inter-unit wiring through a 3-1/2" opening in the wall. Since no ductwork is required, installation is simple, fast & efficient. There is no need to use up window space or cut large openings in existing walls, which could undermine the integrity of your structure, and even pose security risks. Since the Rotary compressor is located in the outdoor unit, compressor operating noise is virtually eliminated from the indoor. The indoor unit has been uniquely designed to provide Whisper Quiet operation while delivering comfort throughout the room(s). In addition, rotary compressors provide efficient, powerful cooling at the lowest noise levels in the industry.
Installation & Warranty Info
AJ Madison recommends the installation of a Ductless Split System to be done by a trained and qualified HVAC technician with the proper knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct size for the area it has to cool. Note: AJ Madison will only finalize a Mini-Split (Ductless Split System) purchase with an authorized HVAC Technician.
Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup of the unit please do not contact the manufacturer. You should have the technician that installed the units contact either AJ Madison or the manufacturer. We cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed HVAC technician. We have full technical support team available to help you throughout the installation process.
AJ Madison, Inc. cannot be held liable for improper installation and operation of any product purchased from our company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced, an installation receipt will be required along with your AJ Madison sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may result in the warranty not being honored.
Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed HVAC Technician who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty (preferably for a full year to compliment the manufacturers' parts warranty).
