Was waiting for a year for the all gas Fratelli to come as my kitchen is all gas. Besides, I don't want to learn to bake again in an electric oven. Range works great. Baked my hubby a cake for buying me "Ferdy". Range looks good and works better. Was concerned that it would be hard to clean but after baking all week, cleaning the oven was easy. Better for the environment anyway.

The looks of this thing are amazing. I haven't had much opportunity to really use this thing yet but little I have I'm very impressed. I had to convert it to propane just a word of caution the propane jets are various sizes and aren't labeled as to which burnner they go to. I just matched the size of the orfice to the size od the burner and all turned out well. The only thing I'm unsure of is the oven fan seems to run constantly when the oven is on even with the fan on off. Go figure.

I bought the All Gas 36" free-standing Fratelli Onofri
range. I wanted the absolutely most simple range I could get, and I wanted it to look like a quality appliance that I will keep for life. The Fratelli Onofri is BEAUTIFUL and SIMPLE!!!!!
So simple to use- I even figured out the clock and timer without using the manual. The electronic spark ignition 'ticks' for a certain amount of time- you just light it, let it alone for a second, and then adjust your temps/flames.
Essentially the timer is always 'on'- you just push in and hold down the same buttons you use to set the clock, and et viola- the things beeps however many minutes later. (the timer does not disrupt the clock in any way) Setting the oven temp is fabulous- just turn the knob, no mucking around w digital entries, and I love to hear that whoosh sound when the gas ignites in the oven! You can also see the gas flames through the window- so easy to just look and reassure yourself that it is actually lit. The flames on the burners are nicely adjustable, and there are 4 different sized burners, so you are not stuck w all super-larged sized burners. I can use my itty-bitty sauce pot on this massive range without any problem. The stainless steel european-style knobs are ergonomic, and are very easy to clean.
I have made a few pots of soup, chili, bread, a few pizzas, lots of biscuits, and many enchiladas w this range in the month or so I have had it.
The oven fan is wierd, strange to hear an oven make noise, but it is not unbearable, not too loud. An unavoidable modern 'improvement', I guess on all the high-end ranges.
I was worried that I would not be able to bake with a gas oven, I do think you have to cook baked goods on the highest rack, because the gas flames from the bottom and can burn the bottoms of crusts, but you learn to work around that, turn heat down a bit, bake longer w a bit moister dough... I also wondered would I be able to mist water into the oven while baking bread to get that nice brown crust- or would it put the gas flame out? No problem, I have squirted lots of water into the oven, and the flame has never gone out.
The oven clock emits a pretty, very blue, bright light. Definitely illuminates the kitchen at night.
DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THE BOTTOM PANEL ON THE ALL GAS VERSION-- IT IS NOT A STORAGE DRAWER LIKE IT IS ON THE ELECTRIC MODEL. The HVAC installer was about to 'Make it open" there are hinges you can see- so it looks like it should open-- and I said 'wait!' I called EuroChef and they said the all-gas model does not have a storage drawer like the electric oven model does, makes sense- the flames are right above it, and one would probably get burned trying to utilize that space. I am afraid if the HVAC man had pressed on, it would have ruined my lovely stove's looks. And you definitely need a plumber to hook this baby up- it is worth the extra$--this a gas appliance here, safety first.
About the looks- it is gorgeous. The stainless steel is very high-quality, the grates are sturdy and simple, beautiful cast iron, and the range is solidly built, ~ 235#. Use the anti-tip brackets provided, if it fell on a child, the child would be killed, no question.
Compared to other high end ranges, I have seen in showrooms this range is just as nice, or better- and at $2,500, a relative steal. I am quite happy it is sitting in my kitchen!

My wife and I simply love this oven, we got it about three weeks ago and it looks awesome and works perfectly in every aspect. I mean honestly there is no cons to this great range at all. Forget about spending thousands more this is as good a gas range as their is on the market today.
