Product Reviews
Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Frustrated The dimensions on this website are wrong. Overall dimensions normally include the distance the handle sticks out - this one does not. The microwave body sticks about 2 inches further away from the face of the cabinet than other models (about 4.5" total). Then add another 2 inches for the handle. The mounting brackets are very flimsy and rely too heavily on the upper bolts going into the base of the top cabinet. I am disappointed in Frigidaire's design team. 9/4/09
Rated 4 out of 5 Very nice looking This microwave is very nice looking and is perfect with the Frigidaire Professional Range that we purchased. It is a little bigger then the one we had previously so it sticks out a little bit farther but we are used to that now. It also has a 2 second delay before starting but we are used to that as well. 4/15/10
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Micro Not sure why it is so darn big though..I often chuckle when I open it and wonder who could possibly cook anything in this that would justify it's hugeness. Seems like a waste to make a micro that does not have convection so large. Most people use a micro to reheat and cook side dishes, but you could fit a turkey in this one. Overall it cooks evenly and looks nice, albeit large. The most annoying feature is when you use the timer feature for anything the microwave is useless until it's done. It basically becomes a VERY large timer in your kitchen. My older inferior micro could do both, it was great. I use the oven timer now instead. The other small annoyance is the the clock is not visible from across the room, say anything more than 10-15 feet away, it's far too dim. Also on bright days its hard to see as well. Some of the autocook features work well, some are too confusing to remember how they work without referring to the manual. Although the menu on the inside of the Micro door is helpful. Overall decent value for the $$, just far too large for it's capabilities. 5/12/10
Rated 2 out of 5 by Overpriced and Underpowered I bought the full Frigidaire Pro package with my remodel, so this fits right in. The brushed stainless and minimal use of black is a great look. But of all the items in the set, this is a big disappointment. Other than the size (the interior is huge) everything seems underpowered, especially for a top-of-the line series. It is 200 watts less than my old countertop version. The light is dim at both settings - far less than you get from a normal 40 watt bulb. And the fan, while loud, has no suction. I mean zero. I took both vent covers off and found there was no fan anywere to be seen. It's at the top and serves no purpose other than to make a lot of noise. Other than the fan issue, which I plan to have checked out, this serves its main purpose of heating frozen dinners. The sensor reheat also works well. But for the price I expected a lot more. 6/24/10
