I'm very sorry I bought this range. If you like to bake, don't even consider it. It bakes very unevenly and it doesn't hold the oven temperature. Three sheets of cookies will all come out looking different. Everything gets too brown on the bottom. The power burner isn't very useful...it has one setting...high, if you turn it down slightly, it immediately becomes a simmer burner. The trim behind the burner knobs is plastic and the color chips off easily. If I could find a buyer for my range, I would get rid of it for quite a loss, just to get rid of it.

I get compliments on the look of this range every time a visitor comes over. It looks much more high end than the price tag indicates. As far as performance goes, I'm satisfied with the burners overall. However, I wasn't too impressed with the power plus burner feature. I haven't timed it by any means, and perhaps my expectations were too high, but it seems like it still takes forever to boil water. I do enjoy the powerplus preheat- that definitely seems to speed things up. Just a warning, when I ran the stove for the first time it started smoking and I freaked out. However, buried in the owners manual I found a statement saying that was normal the first time the stove is used and it's never happened again. Definitely do a dry run first before cooking any food. So to sum up.... I'm very happy with this range and haven't had any problems whatsoever in the 6 months we've owned it

garden girl A really great range
I just finsihed my kitchen remodel a few weeks ago and absolutely love the Frigidaire range; I think I've cooked more in the past 3 weeks than I did for the whole six months prior because it's such a delight to cook on. The oven temp is true and even, the burner control is amazing, the range looks gorgeous in the kitchen and the price was great. I haven't tried the convection feature yet but I highly recommend this range, you will really enjoy cooking again.

I'm very disappointed in this range. I chose it over the GE because it looked nice, had all the features i wanted and it was less expensive. Boy did I make a mistake. The power boil flame is so wide, you cant use it on regular size pots, and the burner behind it is only for simmer, so you can't use it at all to cook. The 2 burners on the left get clogged and go wild (you need a dry toothbrush to clean them out) and they are so close together that you cannot have a pot and a pan cooking at the same time. So basically i am stuck with cooking one item at a time. The warming drawer is only slightly warm and the front panel was peeling off within a couple months (not covered under warranty) What a waste of money. I'm sure I will be buying a new oven in a couple of years. until then, very frustrating.
