We have had this fridge over a year, and wouldn't buy Frigidaire appliances again. It's a good-looking refrigerator, but it doesn't distribute temperature evenly inside, and anything we put on the top shelf freezes, while food we put on the lower shelves don't seem to get cold enough.
There is very little space in the freezer. We wouldn't buy this style again. The ice-maker is so loud we can hear throughout the whole house. There is metal stick atop the icebox which is used to sense when the ice drawer is full. It rarely works, and the ice drawer is constantly overflowing. Every time we open the freezer, ice cubes fall out onto the floor. And there is a collection of ice cubes at the back of the freezer behind all the food.
Also, this fridge has a coating that keeps it from getting finger prints stuck on it. The coating is a great concept, but they failed to apply it to the handles, which is the part that is touched the most. So the handles always look dirty and are difficult to clean.
All in all, we are not happy that we paid so much for such a low quality appliance. These were the first appliances we've ever purchased, and didn't know exactly what we were looking for. We have learned! We will buy a brand name that is tried and tested next time. Frigidaire seems to be more focused on the appearance of their appliances rather than their functionality or quality.
