Rated 3 out of 5Â by Moose Disappointed But Fair Solution
Let me begin by saying I NEVER complain or review things I purchase. However, I feel this is necessary to warn potential buyers. This is no reflection on AJ Madison.
Obviously we bought this to fit into a smaller space. It showed up with scratches, and AJ Madison was great about replacing the door panel. But... the water/ice dispenser has leaked since it got hooked up. Literally 5-10 minutes after getting ice or water, about a cup of water comes streaming out...all over the fridge and floor. We always have a towel there.
Because it is under warranty, we have had 3 free service calls. They have replaced every possible part they can think of, but nothing has worked. The repairman who has been in the business over 30 years has never seen anything like it.
So, after a many calls to the repair service and Frigidaire, the proper paperwork and a review of our situation.... Frigidaire has decided to replace the whole unit. The service has been wonderful...but the product is a disappointment. Let's hope the new fridge doesn't have the same issues.
Most Sincerely,
Disappointed in Detroit

I've had this fridge for about 2 months now, and can't say I'm that satisfied with it. It does do a good job at keeping my frozen pizzas frozen and my Heineken nice and cold as it's supposed to, but I've had some problems with it.
First problem was that I could not install one of the two handles because one of the small allen screws was screwed in too tight. I twisted and broke both L-shaped allen tools it was supplied with. I finally had to use a 3/8" socket wrench with a 3mm allen socket to get it out.
Then last week, I noticed a 4-inch circle of orange-colored rust water around the right front leg coming from below the fridge. I'm a bachelor, and only keep water, green gatorade, and beer in the fridge, so it couldn't have been from a spill. So I believe there's some kind of slow condensation or moisture dripping down there.
Last issue is with the water filter. I live in a part of San Jose, California that has very hard water (high in calcium). Water from the fridge still tastes funny, but tastes fine from my Brita filtered water jug, so I never drink from the fridge. I can still taste it in the ice however.
Now to appearance. For a little over 12 hundred bucks, and being Frigidaire's "Gallery" series, I was expecting something that looked nicer. The digital control panel for water and ice looks lame and cheap. The entire fridge is a fingerprint magnet, and the shiny handles and control panel are dust magnets, like they have static.
