Rated 4 out of 5 Great Range There is in fact a Hot Surface indicator light on the control panel. I would say that it is a good thing that this unit has completely solid steel knobs. Because if it had plastic knobs like most ranges at this price point they would melt. 2/28/13
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too Hot This oven bakes well just like the Frigidaire double wall oven I have. However the cooktop and cooktop bezel become very HOT when baking or using cooktop. There are no element warning indicators for which elements are hot. For an oven of this price that should be standard. 5/31/12
