Rated 5 out of 5 by Long Overdue This smoothtop is great and a big improvement from the old GE speckled top we used to have. It was a breeze to install (3 simple wires to connect) and took less than 5 minutes. The old one used to take up to 12 minutes to boil 6 quarts of cold water, this does it in 3. We're very please overall... We would highly recommend this glass smoothtop and look forward to many years of efficient cooking... 9/12/11
