Rated 1 out of 5 Pass on this one When the cook/defrost time has stopped it beeps 3 times, if you don't open the door it continues to beep, pressing cancel still doesn't stop the programmed 3 beeps. One beep would be fine, but 3 beeps, then more beeps, it doesn't stop until you open the door- very poor design. Does not cook potatoes on the programmed select pad, door is flimsy. If I had to do it over I would not have purchased this model. Consumer reports gave it a good rating, but said it was noisy, I had no idea they ment this awful beeping! 6/4/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Noisy Looks good and does everything we want a micro to do, but the door closes very loudly, it hums very loudly, and the "done" beep is very loud and beeps 3 times whether you have opened the door and removed your food or not. The manual does not indicate any options for programming the beep signal to make it softer or to reduce the beeps to one. This can be disturbing if you have an open floor plan. 11/7/12
