Rated 4 out of 5 not bad for the money
It is a bit noisy when the engine starts, a technician came and tried to fix it; the noise did not go away completely. Overall, we are fine with the purchase, we are glad that the fridge is not heard on the 2nd floor of our house.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Anonymous Does the job
Was looking for replacement of secondary fridge (located in the garage). This happened to be the least expensive model in the size range available immediately and not made in China (it's made in Mexico), thanks to the rebate program run by Frigidaire at the time of purchase. As an added bonus, it's Energy Star compliant. So far it does the job, nothing to complain about. Seems to be quiet - but then, I can't hear it because it is in the garage. Inside it's OK, though the one it replaced had split shelves so the space could be better optimized. But then, at the price it's great value.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Berkshire County A Few Issues ...
I will be contacting Frigidaire soon to send a technician out. Doesn't keep fridge cold enough. I have the dial turned all the way up and it's just "ok" cool. Hopefully it just needs a refrigerant charge. Also the bottom grill did not fit. I called Frigidaire and they sent the identical grill again. I will ask the technician to install grill and then watch him scratch his head for an hour just like I did. I like the design. Especially the gallon size shelves in the door. If we can resolve these issues, I will be a satisfied customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 Great fridge
I can't say I have a whole lot to compare it with, but after reading some of the other reviews, I'll respond to them:
- knocking/noises? Can't say I've heard much of anything or even been bothered by it.
- cold - it does take a few hours for the temperature to adjust, when you change it, but even at its coldest, while the air inside the fridge never seems particularly cold, I'm amazed at how cold the actual items seem to be. Must some innovative way it uses to periodically chill things, maybe. But however it does, it works very well.
I really love our new fridge. Our first "adult" (read: non-apartment-sized) fridge. Went for a good brand as per Consumer Reports. Had it for all of a month, so I can't speak to longevity, but it's very attractive (went for the brushed stainless steel look) and SUCH an improvement over our little junior affair.
We also went for the extra space in the freezer. I recommend it. Costco, here we come...
