Rated 4 out of 5 by Annie Good value in a classy look
Was looking for a vintage look refrigerator and this sort of fills the bill at a reasonable price. Although the storage bins are a little chintzy and oddly angled, and there are no freezer shelves, it IS very roomy and runs extremely quietly.
The textured finish in black is less obvious and annoying than in white and the stainless finish easly to keep clean.

This is the smallest full size refrigerator available, at 14.8 cu ft. I bought one to replace my 21 year old 12 cu ft Frigidaire, this being the only model that would fit under my built in cabinets. I thought it would be a little quieter, as well as larger. But no! The manual specifically says, “”Rigid foam insulation is very energy efficient, but is not a sound insulator … the compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound.” I rate that hum as about an A below middle C, right in our normal voice range, therefore making it extremely hard to hear the TV when the compressor is running. My old Frigidaire had a low pitched hum which altho loud, did not interfere with hearing the TV. Now who is going to buy a very small refrigerator? Certainly not a well-to-do person in a large house, where the kitchen is separated from the living room by a dining room, halls, etc. No, generally a small refrigerator is going into a small house. My kitchen, dining, and living space are all in one 11.5x23 foot room, and my Danish recliner is exactly 3 feet from the refrigerator. Every time the compressor comes on, I have to turn up the TV, and when it turns off, I return to normal volume. This is disgracefully bad planning on the part of Frigidaire. Which would you rather have – a larger and noisier refrigerator, or a smaller and quieter one?
On top of this, once the delivery men install the refrigerator, one naturally looks at the literature and wants to send in the warranty card, which requires the serial number. My old refrigerator had the serial number conveniently inside the refrigerator on the right hand wall. This new refrigerator has the serial number on the back, so now it must be pulled out away from the wall to read the number. (The literature does not contain the serial number.)
You will also note that every photo of Frigidaires on the internet except this one is so washed out that you can’t see them. A company that has so little concern for the real needs of its customers does not deserve to remain in business.

This refrigerator is awesome! I love the compact size. Most interested in saving money on electricity. I was surprised at how much room there is in both the freezer and main compartments. :) Definitely happy that I choose this model.
