Bought this a year and a half ago. About six or nine months into it, the refrigerator started having problems keeping a consistently cold temperature. Frankly, I should have called Summit the first time I noticed things not as cold as they should be. However, I just kept turning the thermostat colder and colder, which seemed to solve the problem. Now, both the fridge and freezer are set to max and nothing is cold. Even though the compressor is guaranteed for 5 years by the manufacturer, I still have to pay $90 just to have someone from Summit come look at it. For a major home appliance, a one-year life is totally unacceptable.

Received the appliance in good shipping condition (protected and neat). Upon opening condition of appliance was perfect. Set up was easy, could not believe how fast and cold the refrigerator got on mim. settings. Would recommend to anyone.
