We bought the wave touch in August 2009. Cost was very high end, so we assumed a quality product; and is attractive. From the beginning, was very poor at washing dishes not scrubbed prior to loading. After six service calls, five during the extended warranty for the same issue (electronics control unit replaced x 4 or 5) and several other sub units replaced, this lemon will be removed from the house. On the plus side, plenty of room for air drying hand-washed dishes while waiting for the service call. Also very quiet operation; particularly while waiting for the technician to come fix it. Customer service rep was sympathetic but firm; no help from electrolux/frigidair. After viewing consumer reports reviews and others, I think my call was typical, this is a lemon of a product to be avoided at all costs.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BeeBee Best dishwasher I've ever owned
This dishwasher looks as good as it cleans!! It has so many cycles you can customize the wash to your needs. I set up my preferred cycles and now just hit auto wash and the dishwasher takes care of the rest. Thank goodness they have the blue LED that lights up when finished because otherwise you wouldn't know when it's finished since it is so quite. You have to put your ear to the door to even tell if it's on.

Rated 1 out of 5 Avoid Electrolux if you can
The worst dishwasher I have EVER used! I have never met a dishwasher that I could not work with until this one. The rack design is so poor that it is impossible to arrange items in either the top or bottom. The bent shape of the bottom rack prongs prevents large flat items like cutting boards from being inserted. Half of the top rack sides are metal -- METAL!!. With sharp edges no less!! So you can't put anything in that area that will get damaged by rubbing against metal -- like glassware. The top rack has no prongs in the center so bowls and bakeware that you are trying to stack against each other WILL NOT stay in place. I could go on but to sum it up -- this is one terrible dishwasher.

We've been using the dishwasher for 2 months and are appalled that Electrolux would put their name on this.
The design calls for a tube attached to the top rack to seat in a gasket at the back of the DW in order to get water to the top spray arm. Everything is flimsy plastic. Even if you reach way in and line up the tube while pushing in the rack before you run the DW, it still will not clean the dishes. it doesn't even totally clean the soap tray...even when we use GEL soap. It can't even clean ice cream off a bowl. Problems are not limited to the top rack. Half the dishes have to be hand washed after a cycle. We've tried many detergents. nothing works.
