Rated 1 out of 5Â by Al & Bettie Fine until you clean the oven
This range was a dream come true until the first time we used the self cleaning oven feature. After that, temperature control was erratic. Service man said you should never use your vent hood while cleaning, because it draws the heat up into the control panel. Sounds like a MAJOR design flaw! Was still under warranty THIS TIME. Will the electronics cook every time we clean the oven? Service man said to place box fans on oven drawing the heat away. Again, MAJOR design flaw!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Brooklyn Brownstone Great range!
I love our range. It has five great burners of varying sizes and BTUs, wonderful easy to pull out racks, intuitive controls, a great look and nice features. I did a lot of research before buying this and am 100% happy with the result.

Rated 5 out of 5 Very Pleased
So far...so good. The range is perfect for our size kitchen...easy to use and looks great. My wife states that it's easy to clean as well. The panel is easy to read and for the most part self-explanatory. In other words...you can plug it in and pretty much figure evrything out without reading through the manual. The slow-cook burner is hard to light...the igniter won't seem to light it...we have to use a match. This is systemic...we've seen mention of this in many other reviews. We don't use it that much...so it's easy to look beyond this issue. There was a pretty strong odor the first few times that we pre-heated the oven...but it gets less and less pronounced each time we use it. All in all...we are very pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by wilburg Best stove I've owned
Overall, I am quite happy with this stove, though there are a few things that Electrolux should change.
The most necessary change is in the top grates: As they are currently designed, there are four cast iron points which converge at 90 degree angles from one another near the center of each burner; additional support is needed at 45 degree angles to keep relatively smaller pans (still larger than Electrolux users' manual requires) from tipping quite easily on those same 45 degree angles. This could be accomplished easily with a small modification to the mold from which the grates are cast.
The programmability of favorite settings for the ovens should be expanded to allow multi-stage programs to be saved.
Finally, the low flame adjustability of the burners does not seem to be as readily settable as the manuals indicate. The adjustment screws seem unwilling to turn, so adjustment seems impossible.
