I purchased this oven in July 2011, but it was not used till Dec. 2011 (kitchen reno). It worked fine until I used the self-cleaning feature for the first time in June 2012. When I tried to turn the oven on for the first time after the cleaning, the oven would not heat up. It took until Sept 2012 for the oven to be repaired, following many service calls (long waits for appointments, incorrect diagnosis of problem, wrong part ordered, long wait for correct part to arrive). Although I should have tried out the self-cleaning function right away after the repair to check, I did not do it again until yesterday. The very same thing happened. It is now out of warranty, and Electrolux will not help me, even though this is the same problem I called them about when it was in warranty. I cannot recommend this oven or Electrolux. I have since researched this problem and now find other Electrolux owners complaining of the same problem. I thought I done a lot of research b/4 buying it, but I guess not enough.

I have owned this oven for almost 1 year, and it's really outstanding.
All the food that I make now, tastes so much better. I still use the same recipes, it's the oven performance that makes everything taste so delicious. Using my old oven everything came out dry. Now everything is so juicy. I do use the convection feature a lot, and it's probably that's what's helping to lock in the juice and the flavor.
I am an avid bread baker, so the bread proofing and multiple stage features, make bread making so much easier. I just put the breads in to rise, add the cooking in the multiple stage feature and then the timer goes off when it's done. Awesome! And the breads turn out almost double in size as the traditional "on the counter rise" way.
I've also tested the perfect turkey feature, which actually made a perfect turkey. My turkeys have always come out super dry and really not very good, but this year's Thanksgiving produced a perfect turkey, indeed, thanks to my Electrolux oven! Thanks for saving our Turkey Day dinners!
Another feature I like and use often is the rapid preheat, it's very convenient if you forgot to turn the oven on, or if you're in a hurry.
I tried the slowcook feature a couple of times using a dutch oven. The roast came out very tender. I don't own a slow cooker, so I can't really give a fair comparison, but for my use it was ok. I will use it again.
The oven is of course very stylish. It looks great in my kitchen. I'm afraid if we move from this house, I will have to take my oven with me. I absolutely love it. And I haven't gotten to the sliding racks yet, oh, my stars, how I love that!! The racks slide in and out with the gentle touch of a finger. I didn't think that I would care so much about this, but now that I know, I just can't see me cooking without it. Truly genius. If you need to remove the entire rack out of the oven, it can be a little tricky, but once you know how, it's very easy.
The self cleaning feature works great. My oven is always nice and clean. The front panel wipes off very easy with a damp cloth.
Blue is my favorite color, so the cobalt blue interior fits my style just perfect.
One thing, you might think about when purchasing, is that the packaged oven almost didn't fit through my front door. Yikes, they were able to push it through without any damage, but it was on the hair. The oven was packaged very well, so it arrived in excellent condition. Delivery was perfect, on time and professional.
My husband is very handy, and he was able to hook it up by himself, I just helped lift it in place.
I liked to cook before, but now I love it even more.

I really love this oven. Surprisingly, i have used the convection more than anything, probably because I have never had one before and was curious how it worked. My last oven died after 18 years and the features available now are overwhelming. Delivery was as promised and even inside the house, although I didn't pay extra for that. My husband and I installed and it was fairly simple if you are so inclined. Only complaint I have so far is that the timer is VERY QUIET. You need to use a backup unless you are right there in the kitchen. It also takes a long time to cool down after you shut it off and the fan runs the whole time, although it is fairly quiet. I called electrolux about this and they said that was normal with the combo convection/regular ovens. I did a lot of research and pricing and so far feel I made a great choice.

I purchased this oven a year ago. Started having problems with noise on Thanksgiving day. Electrolux responded immediately and several appts. later decided to replace the oven. Even with the problems the oven baked/cooked perfectly. Proofing bread is a dream.
I love this oven and even with the excess noise I used it all the time with perfect roasts, pies, cookies, etc.
AJ Madison is a great company to work with.
I rated the performance with 4 stars only because of the noise.
This oven is worth the $$$s. I did a lot of research before selecting this oven and am not dissapointed.
