The freezer is well laid out. I can organize foods so they are easy to spot and easy to get in and out. I love having the temperature alarm. It runs a little loud, but it is in the basement, so I don't hear it unless I'm down there. Best features are that it is frost-free and upright with several shelves and a basket, making the food very accessible. I will never go back to a chest-type freezer (foods gets buried; frost build-up is terrible). Glad I bought this.
