AJ madison unable to provide original model I wanted. Could only provide 1 of many hood available. The product is very good. The distributor is apparently bad.

I have an open kitchen where the stovetop is in an island that separates the kitchen from the dining room, so I needed a hood that looked good since it's basically hanging in the middle of the space. On top of that, I can't run a vent to the outside, so I needed a ventless hood. This one fit the bill - it looks more like an elegant and modern light fixture than a hood. It works surprisingly well too - ventless hoods are never as good as a vented, and if I really fry something to a crisp the room does eventually get a bit smoky, but I can now cook without setting off the smoke alarm 90% of the time which makes me happy.
