The new Aqua Divide design from Elkay offers the flexibility of both a double bowl and a large single bowl in one high performance stainless steel sink. The Aqua Divide utilizes unique tooling to form the lowered partition which enables pot and pan handles or oversize items to extend over it allowing the benefits of a large single sink. Or, if you prefer, it can be used as a traditional double bowl for separated washing and rinsing. Is it a double bowl sink or a large single bowl sink? The choice is yours.

Is it possible to love a sink? Apparently it is. I had a white corian 50/50 sink prior to my remodel. I had no idea that functionality can make the dreaded chore of doing the dishes so much less of a burden! I put the disposal on the small side so I can soak pots and pans on the large side while cleaning up. The size of the bowls are perfect for accomodating both large and small items that need to be soaked. And I LOVE that the divider comes up only halfway...this really, really adds to the functionality!
It does scratch, and unfortunately I now have some small ones resulting frm the remodel that I don't know how to easily remove, but that's probably the nature of stainless steel sinks, not this particular one.
I've used the stainless steel cleaner that they gave me with my purchase and it looks brand new afterward!

I bought this after reviewing lot of sinks in various websites. I love the design of the sink, it has a partition but is not too high so that things can be moved from one side to the other without splashing. It is also reversible meaning either one of the sinks could be placed on the left or right side. It looks great and very sturdy. Was not stocked so it took some time to get it from AJM
