This vacuum has some good features and some not so good. I don't like the sttachment storage in the handle of the hose. They loosen up and then don't hold in place well. I am unable to regulate the suction low enough to vacuum area rugs. Having an adjustable slide cover over the hose attachment would be an advantage. The unit IS quiet and very light and easy to transport/pick up. The large floor brush attachment is too large and the opening for the suction is only located in the center of the brush so having all that extra bristle brush on the floor only causes dust and hair to stick to it instead of sucking it up. Get the smaller floor brush instead.

Only good thing about this vacuum is its looks and it is quiet. Purchased in Nov 2010. It is now in repair for 2nd time. It shuts off by itself and switches from floor to carpet and vice/versa while in use. Electrolux has changed the hose and now is replacing 2 circuit boards. If this does not take care of the problem I am demanding my $$$back!!!

Vacuum is really quiet.. You can have people sleeping in the room and you can just vacuum around them.. I love it --- The floor to carpet feature is handy and allows you to clean entire house in a breeze.

This vacuum is the best vacuum i ever had, used etc.. Its extremely silent. My dogs don't chase after it which they always did with my other one. It has amazing power. My carpets, floors all look great! I only buy Electrolux appliances since their customer service is the best, and their products are always cool looking and a pleasure to use. Electrolux is my #1 Brand! Keep up the good work Electrolux. You will not be disappointed with this vacuum. I have 2 dogs and it gets all the hair. The build quality is really good. I have the Deluxe model also which is almost exactly the same is this one and love them both. The thing i like most is how quiet it is. I can finally vacuum without my dogs chasing and barking at it. They don't even get up and come near me when I vacuum. Thats how quiet it is
