Let's start with the good- the oven is perfect. Both ovens, in fact. This is the only dual oven, 30" range we could find with the ovens full width. The ones that are split side to side are useless on all levels. The glides are a real pleasure to use, but READ THE MANUAL!!! They must be removed before a self clean cycle or they will get gummed up. (We didn't do have that problem but heard from others that did). It holds its temperature well and evenly. The remote thermometer is a waste, as the wire melts when it makes contact with... well, anything. And it is impossible to use it without it getting in contact with something.
Now the bad- the right front burner is so poorly designed that it is almost unusable. You have to be so precise in dialing it in to get it to light that it is very difficult to do. With no pot on it, so you can see it. And the glass top piece perfectly clean. Have that piece cloud up (which it quickly did) or put a pot on it before lighting it (which we often do) and it is a trial and error of frustration to get the flame lit. We thought it was defective and had 3 different repair guys out to work on it. None of them could figure out what was wrong, so they replaced the whole assembly. And the problem persisted. One guy finally sat down and read the entire service manual, then showed me the section that says that it was working the way it is intended. There were two guys there at the time, and both agreed with me that it was just poor design. Then there's the control panel. Functionally it's fine. Unless it gets wet. Then it freaks out and brings up error messages until it dries out. It's a stove top- did nobody consider that it might get wet? My mother in law is looking for a new range and I have to steer her away from this one because of the frustration we've experienced with it.
