Bought our refrigerator 5 years ago. When it was first delivered it did not have the kick plate on the bottom. After trying to get someone at Dacor to help me get a replacement part for over a year I gave up. Have had to have it serviced many times. First issue is that not many people service Dacor! Next issue is that when you get a part it is very expensive - if you get the part number you can find the same part with the Maytag name and it will cost WAY less. Doesn't make you feel like they value their customer very well!! Our refrigerator stopped cooling all together after having it about 4 years. Needed a new circuit board and then needed the coolant added. Now a part broke on the ice maker door and the fan is making a lot of noise. I have someone coming to see what they can do but the repair costs may make it not worth repairing. I wanted to "buy American" but I would not go with Dacor again.
