The freezer door ice panel exposed screws that attached to the freezer after 2-days. The Whirlpool repairman had to order a new freezer door. Six weeks for its arrival. The refrigerator rolls forward every time you open the doors. The smooth finish shows finger marks every time you touch the doors. The built in filter is great and the water taste very good. The ice in the door provides more freezer space for large pizza boxes. The size of the refrigerator fit into our limited space requirement. Looks stylish (in black). Materials in refrigerator are flimsy and cheaply made and feel like they will break easily.

After a few weeks of living with this refrigerator, I am ready to make a review of it. I can't speak for reliability, but I can give you some insights on things I noticed right away. There are a few complaints you will find on this fridge if you look around. One, complaints about noisiness. This is true. It is a rather noisy fridge. When the fan comes on it has a slightly noisy buzzing sound. Two, the complaint about the ice maker jamming up. Mine didn't jam up, but I noticed that sometimes when you put your glass up to get ice, it doesn't dispense until you pull it out, and put it back in. On other occasions, you get about 1/4 cup of water before it dispenses the ice. Three, there are complaints about the shelves not being on rollers. this is true, but we haven't had a problem. Four, this is my own observation... When you put heavy things on the shelves like a gallon jug of juice or something, make sure to put it to one side, or the shelf will bow slightly toward the middle. Still, for the money, if it lasts, I will be pleased with my purchase. For the money you spend, it has a lot of bells and whistles, and I don't expect a top quality fridge in that price range, with comparable features. Mark :)

PROS:
Ice maker in door
Fast Ice maker
Ample room in refrigerator section
Slide out, adjustable shelves in refrigerator
Ice bin easy to remove
Cons:
Bottom door hinges are exposed and are unsightly (I did not notice this in the store). I will attempt to cover them in some way.
Bins are cheaply made and hard to move (no rollers). I put a small amount of salad oil on sliders which helped.
Very poor manual. I replaced a Whirlpool refrigerator and had to use the manual that came with that one.
The door handles are poorly constructed with a gap between the handles and the caps.

My first on-line purchase of a major appliance was a good experience thanks to AJMadison. This model fit a required height and width dimension. Filtered water and ice are a most welcome feature. This side by side model in black finishes off our updated kitchen.
