An upscale range hood at a price well below competitors;
One complaint - the lights are not included and they are not readily available in stores; I found lights that seemingly work, but I don't think they exactly match the specifications in the manual; This is a very complex light bulb replacement specification that is seemingly impossible to find;

We have owned this range hood for about 3 months. I bought this one because it fit the bill for the cook top we own. I spent a lot of time researching range hoods and now know more about them then I ever cared to know! We had to buy an under cabinet model (long remodel story you don't want to know about), which is why we got this unit vs. a chimney style. On the low setting, it is so quiet I can't even hear it. Since I'm only running one or two burners at a time, low is good enough most of the time. When we have to put it on high, we call it airplane setting because it sounds like a jet engine but that's okay because we know it's sucking up a lot of air. Quite frankly most of the time I use that setting it's because the oven is putting out smoke and I'm trying to prevent the smoke alarm from going off and it's works well for that. I am very happy with this unit.

I got this hood because it is a low profile and allowed me to have a taller cabinet above the cooktop. Even though it is slim, it can move up to 550 CFM. It does a great job pulling steam, etc. while being relatively quiet. The fan and light controls are right on the front edge of the hood and easy to use, with multiple fan speeds and light intensity by simply pushing the button until you get the desired speed/intensity. It has indicator lights right above the push buttons to indicate fan speed and light intensity. I'm very happy with this hood purchase.
