We needed a fridge to replace the 20+ year old one that came with the house we just purchased. The space for the fridge is shorter and shallower than most appliances are built these days and we didn't want one of those boring cheap apartment sized fridges. On our wish list: stainless, ice maker, water dispenser, modern looking. Only Fisher & Paykel matched all our criteria. We narrowed it down to this model and the one of the same size with the curved door. We preferred this model for the flat door and all metal handle. (The handle on the other model is partially gray plastic and we thought it looked cheap when we saw it at a local appliance store.)
We had 2 concerns about purchasing: 1) reviews on other websites stated the water dispenser leaks and 2) the dispenser looks tiny in the photos. The fridge arrived in perfect condition and we had a plumber hook up the water line for us. It comes with a water pressure regulator and the filter is on the line, not located within the fridge itself. At first, the water dispenser was dripping (there is a little pull out water reservoir to catch the drips), but once we turned on the ice maker, it stopped dripping completely. The size of the water dispenser is actually great - in addition to being short, it is very shallow so you just tip in the top of your glass, mug, etc. I have even filled an oversized pitcher with it with no problem.
The interior has plenty of shelves and bins. The freezer drawers and bins all pull out, making it easy to locate items. The stainless steel does not show smudges as much as other appliances we have owned. It is very energy efficient. Overall, a great purchase.

This was just about the only refrigerator with water in the door at this small size. So far we are very impressed and have had no problems. It stores a fair amount of food for the size and looks great. The water in the door is cold and tastes good (filtered). No complaints thus far...
