Wow, I see all the great reviews on this product and I have had the opposite. The heating steams up the control panel and now it turns off every minute. Had several service guys work on it and no luck in fixing it. I have had it less than a year when it went out on me. Going on two years now and still can't get it fixed. Make sure you get a warranty on it!!!

Great product. Wife uses it every day and only uses the larger convection oven for pies, cakes, and the occasional bird. Ours is installed high which was a mistake for the bottom hinged door. After five years, the handle on the door has become loose and is about to fall off and become unoperational. A replacement door is $400 which hurts. There's no self clean feature for the stainless steel liner. Otherwise, it's her favorite built-in appliance.

During our remodel planning I was looking for a solution to a microwave - not wanting a countertop model. At the same time my wife wanted a second oven that I thought was useless for so few uses during the year. Then I found this Electrolux high speed model. WOW - it is the jewel of our kitchen.
First, the thing looks amazing for an appliance, and the wave touch controls wow everyone. (touch any button and the whole control panel comes alive in blue backlighting, then fades away after a minute). Everyone who sees it wants one.
So as a microwave, it works as well as any. As a high speed oven, its fantastic and something few have. A whole roaster chicken is 27 minutes, and is perfect. It will do frozen french fries super fast and I think they are better than the regular oven. Toll House cookie dough - yep I think they are better than the regular oven. It has all these preprogrammed times too like bagel bites, pizzas (fresh or frozen), many meats, well the list goes on.
It does not replace a regular large oven, but it also does more and is more useful I think than a regular second oven. Of course, the ultimate kitchen cook I suppose would want two ovens and this.
The door does swing down which I like over a side swinging door. Its best to install this a mid level for ease of button use, and putting food in an out. Unlike a microwave that is sometimes installed low, but only has a few time buttons pushed, you will be scrolling through menus and reading the screen more with this.
This is really what all kitchens should have (and the induction cooktop we got).
